In the case of a mobile application installed by you, on a device you own, please uninstall the application immediately. Personal information you disclose voluntarily to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services (such as by creating an account and entering your personal and professional information or entering competitions, contests or giveaways) or otherwise when you contact us in any other form of communication (such as email, messages or telephonically).

Personal Information Provided Voluntarily by You.
We collect names; gender; age; phone numbers; email addresses; mailing addresses; job titles; usernames; passwords; contact preferences; contact or authentication data; billing addresses; debit/credit card numbers; biometrics; and other similar information.

Business and Vendor Information Provided Voluntarily by You.
We collect names; phone numbers; email addresses; mailing addresses; job titles; usernames; passwords; contact preferences; contact or authentication data; billing addresses; bank account details; biometrics and other similar information.
All business and vendor information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such information, failure in informing us may lead to suspension of your business account.

Paynment Data and Information.
We may collect data necessary to process your payment , however all payment data is stored by PayFast. You may find their privacy notice link(s) here: PayFast We do not store any information about the payment instruments (such as credit card number) nor the security code on any of our servers for any payments made throughout any of our services.
All payment information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information we automatically collect We automatically collect certain information when you make use of any of our Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. This information is not voluntarily provided, it is taken that you have read and understood the conditions set out in this privacy policy notice and that you give us consent to collect such needed information

The information we collect includes:

  • Log and Usage Data

Information collected through our Apps and or Services

If you use our Apps, we also collect the following information:

  • Geo-Location Information.
    We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our App, to provide certain location-based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings or by disabling the allow Geolocation Information from the applications setting page.
  • Mobile Device Access.
    We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's calendar, camera, contacts, microphone, reminders, sms messages, social media accounts, storage, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.
  • Mobile Device Data.
    We automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model and manufacturer), operating system, version information and system configuration information, device and application identification numbers, browser type and version, hardware model Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, and Internet Protocol (IP) address (or proxy server). If you are using our Apps, we may also collect information about the phone network associated with your mobile device, your mobile device’s operating system or platform, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID and information about the features of our Apps you accessed.
  • Push Notifications.
    We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the Apps. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.

This above mentioned information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Apps and Services, for troubleshooting and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Information we might collected from other sources

In order to enhance our ability to provide relevant marketing, offers and services to you and update our records, we may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programs, data providers, as well as from other third parties. This information includes mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, intent data (or user behavior data), Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, social media profiles, social media URLs and custom profiles, for purposes of targeted advertising and event promotions.

We have to verify the legality of any registered business and will be collecting such information from the various authorities. This information will include entity names, registration numbers, Vat numbers, contact information, address information, billing information, email addresses and any such information we deem relevant in verifying the legality of such businesses.

2. How we use the information we collect.

We use personal information collected via our Services for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations. We indicate the specific processing grounds we rely on next to each purpose listed below.

We use the information we collect or receive:

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process.
    We currently do now support any account linking from any third-party accounts. We use the information you allowed us to facilitate account creation and logon process for the performance of the contract. Biometric information will only be used to further enhance our security protocols and procedures. We do not store any biometric information on any of our servers.
  • To post testimonials.
    We post testimonials on our Services that may contain personal information. Prior to posting a testimonial, we will obtain your consent to use your name and the content of the testimonial. If you wish to update, or delete your testimonial, please contact us at legal@eltovision.co.za and be sure to include your name, testimonial location, and contact information.
  • Request feedback.
    We may use your information to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Services.
  • To enable user-to-user communications.
    We may use your information in order to enable user-to-user communications with each user's consent.

    We may use your information for the purposes of managing our account and keeping it in working order.

4. Who de we share the information we collect with.

We only share and disclose your information with the following third parties. We have categorized each party so that you may be easily understand the purpose of our data collection and processing practices. If we have processed your data based on your consent and you wish to revoke your consent, please contact us using the contact details provided in the section below titled "HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?".

6. Google Maps.

We use the Google Maps API to retrieve certain information when you make location-specific requests. This includes:

  • Geolocation

For a full list of what we use information for, please see the previous section titled How we use the information we collect and How we share the information we collect. We obtain and store on your device ('cache') your location for six (6) months. You may revoke your consent anytime by contacting us at the contact details provided at the end of this document.

The Maps APIs that we use store and access cookies and other information on your devices.

7. Stance on Third-Party Websites.

The Services may contain advertisements from third parties that are not affiliated with us and which may link to other websites, online services or mobile applications. We cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of data you provide to any third parties. Any data collected by third parties is not covered by this privacy notice. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other websites, services or applications that may be linked to or from the Services. You should review the policies of such third parties and contact them directly to respond to your questions.

8. The Period we keep your information.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than six (12) months past the start of idle period of the user's account.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

9. How do keep you information safe.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. We are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note however that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal, nor will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.   • (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, this includes all parties that hold copies of your personal information. This request may be subjected to a charge and you will have to provide proof of your identity.
  • (ii) to request rectification or erasure; This is true when you deem your information to inaccurate; irrelevant; excessive; out of date; incomplete; misleading and obtained unlawfully
  • (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and
  • (iv) if applicable, to data portability.

12. Controls for do not track me.

At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
